Launching of Villa Yarl

The launching of Villa Yarl is a success. Weeks ago, they called my dad and ask if my dad interested with the launching, so my dad told them that he does. And last week, they mail my dad the invitation card. This launching is only open for visitor who has the invitation. We’ve been wait for the launching since don’t know when, and now finally we receive the invitation. Yay!!

Villa Yarl is really brilliant. Environment there is perfect for a weekends-runaway. But it’s just not my type of mansion. The moment I went in, I do not feels the welcoming feeling, In fact, I felt uneasy. Not that the mansion is ugly or what. The show unit is totally breath taking. The interior design is really very simple yet nice. Reason that makes me felt uneasy is because it’s so small, really small, to tell the truth, smaller than my semi-D. And the price begins with RM3.25 million. Although my semi-D is only 2 story with 3+1 rooms, but it’s bigger than the mansion. This mansion is a 3 and half story bungalow. The only thing that I like is that this mansion has an under-ground garage. But, hello, don’t you expect me to climb the stairs. To be exact, this mansion is a total of 4 and half story includes the garage. *faint*. This mansion is just weird. The master bedroom is located at the highest floor, than junior master bedroom, than 2 normal rooms at the 1st floor and a guess room at the ground floor. The maid room is smaller than our by half, for your info, my maid room is so small that it’s illegal in Australia, so imagine half of mine!! Their master bedroom is even smaller than my rooms. My bathroom is 2 times bigger than theirs. And how much does my semi-D cost, RM 800k+ only. Even after renovation and furnishing, my semi-D only cost a total of about RM1 million. The current market price for my semi-D is RM1.5 million. One of my neighbor’s semi-D market prices is RM2.3 million. Villa Bovelin’s facilities may not be as nice as Villa Yarl, but we have a garden and a hut which Villa Yarl does not afford to build one. Yes they may have a public gym room and swimming pool, but I have my very own gym room at home as well. However, Villa Bovelin is open concept like those western countries. We do not have fencing or a tall wall separate between the houses. And that’s why we’re so close to each other. (Referring to the Low family, the Chan family, the Michael family and the Jimmy family.)

My semi-D has a washing area which Yuki loves to poo there; Villa Yarl does not have one. They do not even have a back yard or their own garden. Now I’m starting to loves my semi-D. Really loves it. The grass is not always greener at the other side. Villa Bovelin has the better, windier location.

Anyway, this launching is great. They gave us goodies bag. It’s 4 pack of special tea. And they provide us some cocktail food. Light yet yummy. And as promise, the champagne. But the champagne sux, it’s not chilled and it taste weird. So, a big cross for the champagne. But for their musical performance not so bad is the word. And they look familiar to me. I told Lai Ming and she start crap all kind of reason why they look familiar to me. And finally I figure it out. They are the band that my dad hires during my grandma’s funeral. Such a small world.

However, I really did enjoy the launching. At least I had a seen the mansion and try on those nice yummy food. And a goodies bag!!

Love,
Nichole @ Lai Yin

Hi Do you think its a good idea to ahve a family home in Taman Yarl? New semi-D around here is so expensive nowadays. I have spoken to somebody who doesn't like her growing up experience in Taman Yarl. How about you? My kids of 9, 5 and 2 years old. I certainly hope its safe to live in Taman Yarl.

Hi, nice to hear from you. I am not sure if I am the appropriate person to give any comment. I just moved to Taman Yarl for around 7 years. Perhaps I could give my personal opinion and do hope it could help.

For this 7 years living in Taman Yarl, I did not met any crime, except for cases like maids cooperate with outsiders to commit theft, which is like really rare. May be different street of Taman Yarl have different crime rate. As for kids living here, I don't see a problem because there are many kids around my neighborhood. But this is just mainly my own opinion.

Frankly, I am very satisfy living in Taman Yarl if you ask me. At least for time being. No one knows what will happened in the future.

The only thing negative I would say living in Taman Yarl would be the traffic.

Hope this help.
Have a nice day.

Regards,
Nichole

Thank you for your reply.

All these 7 years are you living in a guarded place? If so, that explains why the crime rate is near zero. In general, I also hear pretty good comment about safety in other parts of Taman Yarl too. I hope its true.

Traffic towards Kesas Highway is very bad in the morning? I thought the problem is really Old Klang Road?

The road to Bukit Jalil that cause all the traffic.
I do hope the crime rate here continue to be near zero. And, yes, I live in a guarded community.
