Just Friend

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness

I've read this book call 'Just Friend'.
I've watch this good movie call 'Just Friend'.
Although both medium with the same title has totally different story plot, but the message sent is the same.
Ie, best friend/good friend/close friend always end up to be your soul mate.

However, I read this biography of someone, he once said, being a good friend can never emerge out of the friend zone and be the soul mate. I wholly agree with him. Knowing someone too well diminished all the surprises one will get; Knowing someone too well caused awkwardness; And most of all, knowing someone too well, white lies/compliment/sweet talk never works.

Personally, I will not want to have my best/close/good friend to be my significant other half.
I strongly believe that encountering someone that wanting to know you and date you is the essence of meeting someone right. Only realizing that you had fall for someone after knowing him/her for a century, is idiotic.

Some real life examples, LK, LM and myself.
LK and Peter met at a friend's party. From the very first day he contacted LK, he drew the line and giving hint that he wanted to date her. Look how everything turns out. Happily married and expecting.
LM. Knowing him too well end up knowing all his stuff including something she shouldn't know.
Myself. I got so freaking boring when I'm with him. There are nothing for me to find out. There are nothing to talk to him because I know almost everything as he does.

So, I hereby conclude, significant other half will appear as a stranger when you first met him and eventually, with the help of fate, he will make an effort to be your significant other half.

Constitution Hill

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness

Fact of the Day:
Strawberries are not berries.

One of the attractions and also something the locals proud of, Constitution Hill.

The history and breath-taking scenery aside, I had a lovely moment in Constitution Hill as well. Something I will never forget and will forever treasure. If I were to given a chance to rewind my time in UK and re-do everything all over again, I will not even want to give a second doubt whether to repeat this moment.

sometimes...

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness

Sometimes watching someone fall asleep is such a peaceful thing.

Best part is, when the person sleeps peacefully.

Or the person fell asleep due to the tireness.

The worst part is waking a person up from their sleep.

I don't have the heart to wake the person up.

Its just like taking a baby away from the mother.

Watching a person sleep, especially if the person is someone you love.

You can see, or rather sense their feellings from their sleeps.

May be you may even know their dreams.

My Ideal BF's Criteria.... Version 3.0/09

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness

----
Fact of the Day:
I LOVE TRUST AND EVIDENCE...!!
----

Remember how I have this annual post on the same day every year, where I lay down/update my desire ideal bf's criteria?
Well, because this year is such a rush, I missed the date. So I'll do it now.
Better be late than never.

Well, I'm kinda lazy to type every single criteria, so I'll just slot in the amended/updated point.

  • Age: Strike out the min 2 years criteria. As long as older than me and with a mature thinking, don't really care if older than me by only a day.
  • Height: No more 180cm. As long as taller than me(when I'm in my highest stilettos) by at least one head.
  • And a tiny add on in light of this point,'And I don't really bother about his ex-s. So what if he has a million of ex and not a 'virgin' anymore. Just don't bigamy will do'. Add on, 'and quit telling me about the ex-s stories as I do not wish to know.'

Yea, that's about it. I lower the criteria this year. Because I'm a year older and wiser!!! Mwahahahhaha....

As for the remaining unchanged criteria, kindly click here.

Nichole

p/s: For some unidentified reason, since my first crush, the guy I always fall for, or either attracted to, are those who like sports and read books. I sometime wonder is it me or they ARE really attractive. Or may be I'm just weird. What happen if I end up being together with those who dislike sports and books, those typical bummer.

The Indecisive Guy

Was having lunch at Jassal with Sabrina and Samantha, have no idea how we came into this topic, we were saying how much we dislike guy who says 'anything la', 'as you like la' etc... Guys who can't made up their mind and refuse to do decisions. We think they are such a boring person to be with. We want surprises planed ahead and we want something refreshing. Okay, may be not all girls, but at least I am!!

And we came to this conclusion...

Single guys out there, if you ever wish to date a law student, please make sure you are able to make decisions. Because us girls dislike guys who want us to lead and want us to decide stuff. We hate doing so!!!

And this is also the main reason why we dump our ex. Yes... It's the truth!!

Nichole
