Yuki and the Long Bean

So as you know, I have a baby. Her name is Yuki and I lover her to bits.

She's the cutest little (not literally) thing I have in my life. And just like every other dogs, Yuki is extremely greedy. Especially towards greens. So my maid was washing this bunch of long beans in the kitchen. And Yuki suddenly came running out of the kitchen with a long bean in her mouth and CRAZY guilty look in her eyes.

So we thought she stole the greens from the kitchen again. And we started laughing at her really guilty look. Then, to our amaze, she just sat there with the greens in her mouth and not chewing the greens. So we look closer and realized the greens is actually stuck in her throat. Her saliva was dripping all over and she's terrified. Instead of guilty. Or may be she's guilty as well.

We got to hold her firm, and pull the greens out of her mouth/throat. Poor dog. But she never learnt the lesson. She still go to the kitchen to steal greens.

All the little things I love bout my darling :)

Makan Session

So dad decide to invite a couple of friends over for dinner. He like all these impromptu invites. Like father like daughter :) And the ladies decide to make glutinous ball dessert thereafter.

Oh! And I also extended my invite to someone who I though I may spend my life with, and with much disappointment, he decide to be shy and not to turn up. What an ass. And as all you know, things did not move on with him. Pretty glad I made that decision before jumping into a dead boring relationship. Heeheee…

Occasion: Daddy's Birthday!!!!

So it is daddy's birthday. As expected, LK planned something unexpected for daddy. However, daddy insisted that I should join them. How could I resist right?

Beverage -

Daddy - Red wine

Mommy - Mojito

Me - Apple Margarita

Chef's special -

Raw yellow tail

Appetizer -

Consomme of Wagyu Beef with Seasonal Mushrooms (Me)

Carpaccio of Wagyu Rump with Plum Infused Konbu Sause (Dad)

Lobster Soup (Mom)

Main Dish:

Aged Angus Beef with seasonal vegetables

Aiguillette of Glazed Duck Breast

Glazed atlantic sea bass with Kataifi Prawn

Dessert:

Mille Feuille of Strawberry

Ginger and lime Brûlée with Mixed berries

Part II - After dinner

Aunt bought daddy a cake!!! And we decide to cut it. Since Daddy and Mommy is going to celebrate Daddy's birthday with their friend on his actual birthday.

And then, I give Daddy LM's card and also present. Subsequently, LM called.

And Daddy had a wonderful happy birthday!!! :)

Tolerance

Hey readers, sorry for the deadness of my blog. Was really busy. Will resume my blogging when I'm done with my finals. I promise.

As the title shows, I'm going to write bout tolerance today.

Not to self praise, but I really do have very high tolerance level (unless pms-ing). I'm just a normal ordinary girl same as anyone of you out there. I do not have high tolerance when I'm much younger. But how? All thanks to my parents. Living with different people means tolerance. Even with parents. They have very strict house rules. And they have certain practices which certain people may not take it. However, as their daughter, not only do I have to follow the house rule and make them happy, I also need to be really really tolerance towards them. They're my parents afterall. Regardless how much I need to give in, I will still need to give in. They are my only parents and loving them is a must. Not only respect and tolerance, but love them!!!

So, when you all wonder why you seldom see me getting angry and all, now you know why. I'm well trained by my parents!!
