Launching of Villa Yarl

4 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness
The launching of Villa Yarl is a success. Weeks ago, they called my dad and ask if my dad interested with the launching, so my dad told them that he does. And last week, they mail my dad the invitation card. This launching is only open for visitor who has the invitation. We’ve been wait for the launching since don’t know when, and now finally we receive the invitation. Yay!!

Villa Yarl is really brilliant. Environment there is perfect for a weekends-runaway. But it’s just not my type of mansion. The moment I went in, I do not feels the welcoming feeling, In fact, I felt uneasy. Not that the mansion is ugly or what. The show unit is totally breath taking. The interior design is really very simple yet nice. Reason that makes me felt uneasy is because it’s so small, really small, to tell the truth, smaller than my semi-D. And the price begins with RM3.25 million. Although my semi-D is only 2 story with 3+1 rooms, but it’s bigger than the mansion. This mansion is a 3 and half story bungalow. The only thing that I like is that this mansion has an under-ground garage. But, hello, don’t you expect me to climb the stairs. To be exact, this mansion is a total of 4 and half story includes the garage. *faint*. This mansion is just weird. The master bedroom is located at the highest floor, than junior master bedroom, than 2 normal rooms at the 1st floor and a guess room at the ground floor. The maid room is smaller than our by half, for your info, my maid room is so small that it’s illegal in Australia, so imagine half of mine!! Their master bedroom is even smaller than my rooms. My bathroom is 2 times bigger than theirs. And how much does my semi-D cost, RM 800k+ only. Even after renovation and furnishing, my semi-D only cost a total of about RM1 million. The current market price for my semi-D is RM1.5 million. One of my neighbor’s semi-D market prices is RM2.3 million. Villa Bovelin’s facilities may not be as nice as Villa Yarl, but we have a garden and a hut which Villa Yarl does not afford to build one. Yes they may have a public gym room and swimming pool, but I have my very own gym room at home as well. However, Villa Bovelin is open concept like those western countries. We do not have fencing or a tall wall separate between the houses. And that’s why we’re so close to each other. (Referring to the Low family, the Chan family, the Michael family and the Jimmy family.)

My semi-D has a washing area which Yuki loves to poo there; Villa Yarl does not have one. They do not even have a back yard or their own garden. Now I’m starting to loves my semi-D. Really loves it. The grass is not always greener at the other side. Villa Bovelin has the better, windier location.

Anyway, this launching is great. They gave us goodies bag. It’s 4 pack of special tea. And they provide us some cocktail food. Light yet yummy. And as promise, the champagne. But the champagne sux, it’s not chilled and it taste weird. So, a big cross for the champagne. But for their musical performance not so bad is the word. And they look familiar to me. I told Lai Ming and she start crap all kind of reason why they look familiar to me. And finally I figure it out. They are the band that my dad hires during my grandma’s funeral. Such a small world.

However, I really did enjoy the launching. At least I had a seen the mansion and try on those nice yummy food. And a goodies bag!!

Updates on me

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness
During this few months holiday, everyone seems to be busy.

Amanda working as a primary school teacher;
Roxy working in a firm as the person who photocopy tons of paper and bring in Chinese tea to the boss;
Michelle working as a promoter at Parkson;
William helping out at his mom’s shop;
Pui Yee working as a tutor;

For me, I’m leading a life of a bummer during weekdays and a life of Tai Tai during weekend.

Weekdays

Wake up by 6.45am; drive Lai Ming to her school, than off to mountain climbing and jogging at Gasing Hill. Finish by about 9.30am and went home for shower and take a nap till 12noon. If I’m too lazy to do exercise, I’ll just head home and continue to sleep after dropping Lai Ming at CHS. Usually, I’ll wake up by 11.30am as mommy usually will dump Baby on my bed to wake me up.
I’ll than leave home by 1pm to pick Lai Ming up from school. Some times we’ll have lunch at Meatball’s coffee shop or have mamak. Some times, we’ll have left over for lunch as well, too lazy to cook or buy. After lunch? Read novel in my air-condition room with a cup of nice tea or coffee. As promise to my parents, I practice my guitar as well. After left out for one year plus, I had forgotten every single note. So, I started playing those basic scales and everything seems coming back to me again. The after math of practicing guitar for 10 minutes after left out for one year, my left hand’s finger swollen and reddish-purple. I too study. I’m currently trying on my IELTS practice book. Although not even written a word on the book, but at least I read half of the passage and look for the meaning of those words.

But these only lasted me for only maximum 2 hours. Most of my time, I watch Astro, sleep and eat. I get bored of this kind of bummer life after 2 weeks, so I decide to do something. I started thinking hard and using my brain is really a tough job for me. So, I went to grocery shop on behalf of my mom, I end up buying a whole mountain of rubbish. However, during this grocery shopping, I got an idea on what shall I do. BAKING!! Yes, I shall try on new recipes.

So, later on few days, I’m busy. Really busy. I can’t do the decision either to bake Lemon Cold Cheese Cake or the Tiramisu or White Chocolate Almond Short Cake. It took me few days to do the decision. Yes, it’s a tough job for me to use a brain.

When I’m about to start my baking days, Aunty Jessy called. She asks me to work as a part-time cashier at mommy’s cafeteria because she did not manage to hire enough cashiers for time being. Thus, I’m the volunteer cashier at my mom’s cafeteria. Not a fun job. Why? Because I won’t be getting any wages. It’s my mom’s cafeteria!! Haiz, no college = no income = broke = no shopping.

After a week of volunteer work, I’m finally free!! I can finally get to bake my cake.

The first things I bake were chocolate chip cookie. It may be a little over bake, but it’s nice. Even Aunty Jessy and Uncle Keong says so. After cookie, I baked my Lemon Cold Cheese Cake. Yumm….. Now, I’m thinking dad’s favorite butter cake to show my appreciation.

These does not last me long either. So what I do for my free time? The answer is nothing. Really nothing. The only thing I did that is really something is that I finish two books.

This is how I spend my weekday!!

Weekend

As I mention above, I’m leading a life of a Tai Tai during weekends, only that I’m still single, not married to any rich man yet. Wake up early in the morning for mountain climbing and jogging as usual, than drive my dad to the morning market, groom my dogs, sleep, tv, food, SPA, facial, face and hair masks, manicure and pedicure, shopping, attend dinner and more naps.

This coming Friday, I’ll be attending a cocktail dinner and musical performance host by UOA for the launching of Villa Yarl. This coming Saturday noon, I’ll be attending a concert host by The Chinese Orchestra Society of CHS with the theme ‘Butterfly Lover’. This concert main aim is to raise fund for their new instrument. Their old instrument is seriously in bad condition. Moreover, they hardly get sponsorship from the school as the school bias towards the Band. It’s the truth. And Saturday night, we will be having a barbecue party at my place with my parent’s friends.

Does this information enough to make you believe that I’m leading a life of a Tai Tai during weekend?

All I’m doing now is to wait till my English course to enroll. At least I have something to do. And this class does not last long either. It’s only a 5 days course than will be my IELTS exam.

I seriously have nothing to do; I even voluntarily to do grocery shopping, be my family’s driver, clean dogs’ poo etc.

Movie next Tuesday, anyone?

Sales....!!

2 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness
During my Bangkok trip, there's Bangkok mid year sales. Almost everything have sales. Include big brand like Jimmy Choo and Gucci. Some even up to 70%.

During my Singapore trip, there's Great Singapore Sales. You will see sales every where even at those small stalls.

After all my vacation, some shop at KL having sales. I think it's Malaysia's Mega Sales.

How is it possible that I did not buy any thing during all this sales?

So, as predicted by all of you, here's a list of my purchase during the sales. (Some price will not be shown for safety purposes. Just in case my mom came and visit my blog.)

Bangkok Mid Year Sales
  • A nice bag
  • 2 pairs of flats
  • Dog stuff
Great Singapore Sales
  • 2 dresses
  • 2 flat
  • 3 heels
  • 2 Birkenstock sandals worth S$120 each okay!! So called healthy flat pulak. Go Google it!!
  • Fendi for my mom. Seriously, it's so cheap!!!
Malaysia's Mega Sales
  • A pair of heels ONLY. I only pay RM20. Because sales+ my almost expire cash voucher

As usual, every time Lai Kwan came back from Melbourne, she'll buy us lots of stuff from Melbourne. This time, I think she's too rich. Serious. Or she get it during sales. Here's a list of stuff she got us.
  • More than 15 pairs of heels
  • A LV for me, Lai Ming and her self. 75% paid by Pete.
  • A iPod for Lai Ming
  • A Tiffany for me
  • A A/X shirt for me
  • A Hugo shirt for daddy
  • Tulips and roses' seed worth more than AUS$100. Pete's idea. They're insane. For mommy to plant.
  • Doggy food
Hence, my closet almost burst now. But, I'm happy!!
This is how a poor teenage girl get all her stuff. Sales and gift from sister and sister's boyfriend.
That's the only way because I'm too poor to get myself a LV okay. It could worth me a year of pocket money. Conclusion, I'm poor and I survive by discount and gifts.

Singapore trip

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness
Day 1

Woke up at 5.30am AGAIN.

Reached Ting En’s place by 6.45am. We’re supposed to be there by 6.30am but we’re late. Reason? Su Fang reached my place only at 6.30am, AS USUAL, she’s late again. Finally I get to meet Rainbow and her mate after tons of gossip about them. They’re Ting En’s dogs by the way. Very nice of Ting En’s mom, she drops us at the hotel opposite KL’s Citibank main brunch. So, we don’t have to take LRT with our luggage!!

We took AeroLine to Singapore. Nope. AeroLine is not a new air plane, but a bus. Travel to Singapore by bus is not that bad. At first I’m quite worry about the long hour travel idea. I rather take a plane. But, this is a budget trip. We won’t be spending much on ride and accommodation. But we spend more on food and shopping. Grand Singapore Sales!!! However, this ride ain’t cheap either. It cost me RM160 for two ways. Of course, compare to plane, it’s still cheaper. After I step into the bus, I take back all my words. The bus is gorgeous. It’s like a miniature air plane. Comfy sits personal table, foot rest, adjustable sits, and entertainment. After everyone had aboard, there’s this funny announcement that I hardly could catch it. “Welcome to AeroLine. I’m your cabin crew XXX. Your driver will be Mr ZZZ. We will be reaching our destination by approximately 5 hours. Later will serve Light breakfast. Washroom is available at the lower deck. Thank you.” During the whole ride, we’re served with breakfast (pastry, bake bean and sandwich), cakes, drinks and unlimited mineral bottle water. Not long later, the bus stop at one of the rest station and we of course went to toilet to do our big business due to the washroom in the bus only for small business. On the way to Singapore, we watch Fun With Dick And Jane. This is a good movie. I watched a thousand times and I still don’t get sick of it. Serious!!

We arrive at Singapore, Vivo City to be exact, by 12noon and we went for lunch at Singaporean all time favorites, Sushi Tei. Sushi Tei is a higher class version of Sushi King. Food there ain’t that nice and we have to line up for it. We’re starving and we still holding on our bags!!! But I do agree that the view there is brilliant. We can see Sentosa Island from the restaurant. After food, what are we going to have? Ice Cream!! We went to Ben & Jerry for ice cream. I like the settings there. Their theme is cow and the sits are cow’s breast!! It’s so fun. And the ice cream is really yummy.

For accommodation, Ting En will be staying at his cousin’s place; Su Fong will be staying at her aunt’s place, while Lai Kwan and I will be staying in the living room of Mei Yan’s place. Yes, we save up hundreds!! But, everyone still is working when we arrive. So we place our bags at Su Fong’s aunt’s place and we off to Orchard Road.

About dinner time, we meet up with Ting En’s cousin who is a stylist. He’s holding twenty thousand worth of LV, Channel and Burberry. But that’s for his job. Not his. We went for Korean food. Not really nice. KL’s Han Kook Kwan better. Than, Mr Stylist bring us to shopping. So, Lai Kwan and I was like okay, lets see who’s shopping skills better. Yours or mine. And guess what, he bring us to MNG. Damn, MNG having sales okay. I will not enter MNG under normal circumstances, don’t mention during sales, time where everyone crazy snatching stuff like as if it’s free. So I end up entering the shoe shop next to MNG. Lai Kwan gives a roll eye look to me and she went in to try her luck on a new jacket. I though she enjoy it. It turns out that she hates it. And she went in and follow Mr Stylist due to respect and ‘give face’. Now I understand her ‘roll eye’ looks. Sigh… Stylist pulak.

Day 2

Lai Kwan and I wake up very early, ahead of the planned schedule. Why? We went to Far East Plaza ourselves. For? Food of course. We went for Taiwanese Mee Suah and fried chicken. Olala… yummy!! Then we shop!! I got myself 3 pairs of shoes and a black dress. Then we went China Town to meet up with others. Ting En bringing us to buy trading price stuff. But, it seems more expensive to me. So I bought nothing. Than we visit Su Fong’s aunt’s boutique and did some window shop at this don’t know what plaza. We did a lot of shopping. The whole afternoon!!

we later went home to change and shower. Mei Yan, Lai Kwan and I were bitching about others when we’re home and done with everything. We try on everything we bought and laugh at the stupid Singaporean movie that’s showing on the TV. We than realize that we have no shoe for our dress and we’re going Café del Mear later. So, we went shopping before meeting up with others. Guess what, I got myself two pairs of heels AGAIN!!! Yippee!!!

After meeting others, we wonder around the whole mall searching for nice food. At first, they planned to visit Sushi Tei AGAIN, thanks god that the queue is so long, or I’ll die. I just don’t think Sushi Tei worth 2nd visit on the same trip. Anyway, we end up having Brazilian barbecue buffet. That place called Herbivore. Sound cool? The setting is as cool as the name as well. And so is their food. It’s the best fancy restaurants I’ve visit during my vacation at Singapore. I highly recommend this place if you readers happen to visit Singapore. Instead of we walk to the food like those traditional buffet ways, those food walk to us. Not literally, those Brazilian looking waiter bring those food, walk to table by table, and slice the meat in front of you if you nod to him to showing that you wants that food that he’s serving. We consume so many type of meat. They even serve chicken heart. At first we dint know its chicken heart. We’re like a table of sakai just release from the jungle. When the masculine waiter brings out the chicken heart walk from table to table, we’re looking at the meat with drooling looks. We even kind of discussed about it. Some says it was chicken testis and some says it’s chicken tongue. But every time when the waiter is about to approach to our table, the table before us took it all, when we are about to give up, one of the waiter walk to us and ask if we want any of the food that his about to serve. We look up, it’s the chicken testis!! However, Su Fong asked Mr Waiter what’s that chicken-testis-looking thing, thus, Mr Waiter tells us in very unfamiliar English slang, “its chicken heart. Chicken heart.” Well, I did not try any of it!! It makes me feel sick. As if eating a chicken’s life!! Well, I LOVE CHICKEN but not chicken’s heart. After all the stuffy and yummy meat, we had fondue. And it makes me wanted to sleep. Cause every time I’m over loaded with food, I’ll felt super sleepy, but not this Saturday night. We have all well planned!!

Me, Mei Yan and Lai Kwan at Herbivore
Su Yan and Ting En

Su Fong and I

Ting En, Mei Yan and Lai Kwan

Like I said, the night still young. We took monorail from Vivo City to Sentosa Island. Everyone says my shoe very nice and I’m so happy with it!! When we reach Café del Mear, it totally took my breath away. Yes, 7atenine is a very nice bar for time being, but Café del Mear is something that you cant get back in KL. Café del Mear is a beach side bar. You can choose to be located indoor or besides swimming on the sun bath chair or at the beach on the queen size bed near the sea. We choose the last option. And we drank Champaign. Me being human for 19 years, this is the very first time I try Champaign. Red and white wine, fruit wine and beer is common for me, but not Champaign. The wind there is just nice, their music blasting from the music tower and there’s two cute guy playing the fire stick thingy. We took a lot of pictures but not with my camera. It’s with Su Yan and Ting En. They did not send the pictures to me. So too bad for you readers.

The ultimate scenery of Sentosa Island
ME!!!! and my black dress that make me look fat. Wait, i AM fat!!

After Café del Mear, they plan to go Zouk. But they changed their mind after stepping onto the last monorail at 12 midnight. They said they’re too old to go clubbing, so we went home to sleep instead.

Day 3

Not much, we went shopping for the entire day. Su Yan bought a Prada, Ting En bought 2 Burburry ,Lai Kwan bought a Fendi for mommy and I bought a dress.

Look at the queue. Singaporeans love queue up for everything.
include LV, MNG and doughnut.

After shopping, we went massage. Mei Yan bought this stack of coupon from the shop months ago and it’s expiring soon, so she gave it to us. She went to meet up with her boy friend after we had tea together while Su Yan, Lai Kwan and I went to massage. When we’re happily enjoying my foot massage, Mei Yan called and brings us her good news. Her boyfriend proposed to her!!! So, they’re engaged!! Can you imagine, one months ago, he get her a Fendi as a appreciation for her being such a nice girlfriend and now bringing her to the jewelry shop and ask her to choose a ring and proposed!! So, they’ll be getting married by 2009. Their planning. They meet each other since college and they start seeing each other for almost five years already. Anyway, that guy is really, seriously cute. He looks like Kun Sang Wu, the Korean actor that Lai Ming crazy over.

Back to my massage. This massage center is a very small but cozy place. The masseuses there mostly are blind, half blind, retarded or old retired people. My masseuse is a blind girl call Li Er. She’s very nice and she speaks soft fluent English. She’ll make sure her strength is okay for me by listening to my breathing. And the fees are just moderate. It’s not so expensive. Everyone can effort it. And it makes a living for the needy. I like this place. I like the idea. And I like the masseuse.

Li Er and my pair of fat huge legs.

After massage, we walk pass this Japanese ice cream stall with wasabi flavor ice cream. The ice cream machine looks like a green shit. However, we stop by and tried some. I took sakura and Lai Kwan took green tea. Than, I saw this banner whiting “wear a yokata or kimono and get free ice cream”. So I was wondering, is there anyone wear a yokata or kimono out for shopping, in this hot sunny country? I think not.

Su Yan and I at Far East Plaza

Su Yan and Lai Kwan with their Ice cream

Me and the shit looking ice cream machine.

After massage, we drop by Su Yan’s place to say hi to her parents. They invite us in and I finally get to meet the 3 smart birds of Su Yan’s dad. Su Yan’s dad made us tomato soup, toast, Jelly and fresh juice for our late dinner. And I finally get to meet the legendary brother of Su Yan’s. He claim that he look like Leo Ku. The truth is, NOPE. Anyway, Su Yan’s dad drives us back to Mei Yan’s HDB.

Back in Mei Yan’s place, after shower, Lai Kwan and I start packing while chatting with Mei Yan. Guess what, both Lai Kwan and Mei Yan were discussing about their ideal wedding. As usual, Lai Kwan wants a garden wedding and a reception with no kids. While they were talking about it, secretly I think, what would be mine? No idea. May be when I’m old enough to think about than only I’ll know.

I doze to bed so that I could wake up earlier tomorrow to do final packing. I heard Lai Kwan saying that she only sleep by 5am. She’s insane.

Day 4

I over slept and only wake up by 10am. Gosh, I need to pack.

Lai Kwan cooked a pack of Korean nissin noodle for our late breakfast, just in case we have no time for lunch.

We reach Vivo City by 1pm and we went for last minute shopping. We manage to get daddy a present. The ‘creative’ Crocodile shop attendance is so funny. First, I’ve start laughing at his outfit than we’re laughing at the way he wrap dad’s gift. He wraps it in a very ‘creative’ way. All the ribbons and wrapper and cards and paper bags. Ahahahahah…. It makes me laugh again. Lai Kwan end up stuffing the box into the hand luggage and ruin his ‘creation’. We than bought Lai Ming her iPod cover that she’d wanted to get for so long.

We finally feel the hunger by 2.30pm. We’re supposed to be at the harbor by 3. So we end up having fast food. Not McD nor KFC. It’s American Pizza. Lai Kwan ordered a pizza hamburger. It sound weird and it look weird too. And that’s why she ordered it. So, it ends up being sucky. It’s just normal bun with ketchup, mix pea and cheese as the fillings. King’s pizza pastry is 10 times better.

On our way back to KL, the same cabin crew serves us. So, we had Nasi Brani for dinner, watermelon and drinks. And it show The Break Up. This is the second time I watched this movie, but each time it’ll make me fall asleep towards the middle till the end. It’s just boring. After The Break Up, Su Fong asks for more movies from Ms Cabin Crew, so she load Friends last season, last few episode. Now, I’m dying to download Friends last season.

Thus, my Singapore trip ends by stepping out the luxury bus.

Please, anyone that’s going to Singapore, bring me along!!!

Love,

Nichole @ Lai Yin

Bangkok Trip

0 Humble Opinion to The Royal Highness

Day 1

I woke up at 5am. I just slept for 3 hours because Lai Kwan, Lai Ming and I pack our luggage meanwhile talk non stop till around 2am. The air-port cab arrives at 5.45am and we’re all ready to fly. Baby wanted to follow!!

Lai Ming and I at KLIA

Daddy and Ma.

The Low sisters.

We touch down at Bangkok by more or less 9am Bangkok time (1 hour later than Malaysia’s). I’m supposed to share room with Sharon, daughter of uncle Yap. She’s very nice, out going, friendly and pretty. And she’s 20something. Than, I throw trontum because it’s such a big trouble to share room with a stranger. We, 3 sisters, share a luggage. Worst when Sharon’s room at the 9th floor while Lai Kwan’s room at the 4th floor. Can you imagine, I’m having my shower than I realize I forgot to bring my pants to Sharon’s bathroom, than I have to use a towel and walk all the way back to Lai Kwan’s room to get my pants? We had already told our parents that we don’t mind squeezing but we just don’t wants to stay in different rooms. Especially when I’m a night person, I’ll only go to bed by earliest 1am. I’m so mad in that morning and I almost sit on the lobby’s floor and kicking my legs and shouting and crying. But, I will never do that. I’m a grown up now, not a kid. Anyway, 3 of us manage to squeeze in a bedroom.
Settled everything and we went to change. Mommy wanted me to change my top. She says those friend of daddy’s is mostly ham sup old man, so it’s better for me to wear something more ‘close-up’. The moment I walked out of the hotel onto the street of Bangkok city, I was like WOW. There are so many shopping malls and a total of 5 LV shop surrounded the hotel we’re staying. Anyway, the hotel we’re staying is really central of the city, its call Arnoma Hotel.
We walk along the Sky Walk, it’s a walk way build under the LRT railway, its under the shade of the railway, so you wont get sun burn walking on the street, and it’s very very hyper long, it cover almost whole Bangkok city.

Us and the Sky Walk.

We walk to the Siam Paragon, a shopping mall where rich people spend their time there. There’s LV, Gucci, A/X, Dior, the one and only Jimmy Choo in Asia, Event Singapore does not have a Jimmy Choo and many super expensive brand. I love Siam Paragon’s food court. It’s unlike our food court. Food court there is heaven. Their place is well organized, very clean, good system and most importantly, BEST FOOD. I would call it the high class food court. Their departmental stall is unlike our Gian or Jusco. It’s so up to date. They have imported cheese from all over the world; they have a wine section for you to taste their imported wine; they even sell soup and salad of your own choice. For the soup, you can try a bow, you like it than you buy it. The soup is ready boiled type. So Lai Ming says that you can come if empty stomach and fill your stomach there for free. Yes, they gave lots of free testing. Not one small piece but a bottle of fruit juice or a bow of soup. It’s incredible. Even their Kuih there is brilliant. I’m not sure with the taste, but you will want to eat it when you look at it.
After a whole morning and afternoon of shopping, we went for foot massage. Mommy doesn’t like foot massage, so she joins auntie Po for a short shopping. This is very embarrassing but I’m willing to share. I shouted when the Thai lady washes my feet with some kind of scrub, than I continue shouting when she massages my feet. Daddy asks the lady to massage me harder. The whole massage house is only my voice!!! Gosh, that’s very embarrassing. But, it’s super nice and relaxing. I can walk another mall again!!

Day 2

We went to pray at this famous ‘four face Buddha’ temple. Then we went to Chatucak for more shopping. Chatucak is a market-like type of place. It’s very stuffy and no air conditional. Lai Kwan gets sun burn due to over expose to the sun. I’m fine with the sun because I love sun!! Chatucak is fun!! We took LRT from our hotel to Chatucak and it takes us about 10-20 minutes. And we started our shopping from 1 something. The first thing we bought is SHOE!!! Flat shoe. Surprise huh. Lai Yin and her flat shoe. Mommy, Lai Kwan, Lai Ming and I each bought 1. Than we move on with more purchase. Okay, we spent thousand in Chatucak, but each of us only have a pair of flat and a cute shirt. Others are doggy stuff. It’s so fun when you saw the whole row of shops selling all kind of dogs and doggy stuff. They even sell squirrels and cloths for it. We’re shock to see it. Anyway, we really do have lots of fun. After Chatucak, we went for massage again. This time is full body oil massage. This is my first time experience. And guess what, I did not scream this time. YEA MAN!!!

We're trying on our new shoes!!

Lai Kwan, me and half Lai Ming. And an umbrella pole.

us and the chatucak ice cream.

Lai Kwan

Lai Ming and I. And our bags of purchase.

3 monkey trying on weird things

Day 3

We rent a van and went for city tour. This driver plus tour guide, Mr Good Man, bring us to this authentic floating Thai restaurant. It’s actually a boat on this very dirty river. But the food is really nice. Unlike KL’s Thai food, it had the herbs that Malaysian cook doesn’t use. It only cost us RM300+ for 14 of us. Cheap huh.

Uncle Yap loves doing that when daddy laught at him.

Us at the floating river side restaurant.

After lunch, Mr Good Man drives us to every single tourist hot spot. That is, temple. We visited so many temples in one day. And that’s Bangkok’s hot spot other than shopping and food. After all the visiting done, we went to China town for dinner and its approximate 7pm already. After dinner, guess what, foot massage!!! Hohohohooh… I fall in love with massage. Gosh, it’s like living in the heaven. However, the after math of having too much walking and massage, I hurt my injured knee I mention last few post AGAIN. And I have an ugly bandage on my right knee. Good thing leaving Bangkok the next day.

Day 4

We went to the ‘four face Buddha’ again. Lai Kwan, Lai Ming and I facing big time this year, so we have to do more praying and hoping for blessing from the god. After that, we went Siam Paragon again. But, malls in Bangkok city only start operating their business by 10.30am. We reached there by 10am, so we have to wait another 30minutes. During this 30minutes free time, we went to the Under Water World of Bangkok at the lower ground of Siam Paragon. We took all kind of weird pictures to kill time.

My sister and her frog.

Not that I doesn't want to take more pictures, but the camera is totally out of space. full of my funny sister's pictures!!!

Reason for us to be so eager waiting at Siam Paragon? Their food!! After this meal, we’ll be going back to our hotel and start packing and back to KL. I spend the whole day walking around with my bandage and there’s few time I nearly fell. Worst when I’m wearing a short skirt. I prefer travel with skirt. Reach home by 8pm and Kenny told me that his parent’s went Bangkok as well, and they just reached home as well!!! So, if Kenny follows them, I might meet him!!! *realize my post is getting shorter? because I’m getting lazier.*

she gets all kind of weird idea when ever she's bored.

Baby loves her bed too. she have so many pairs of shoe and bags!!!

yuki loves her bed, her shirt, her shoe and her junk food. she really looks like a chimpanzee.

Love,

Nichole @ Lai Yin
