Question of the Day:
What do you call a penguin in the Sahara desert?
Lost.

We woke up very early in the morning just because we happily ASK Peter to bring us to the local craft market. How smart we are. Not?

Okay, the market not as bad as I sound. In fact, its good. From the doggies-lover point of view. This market is time for the proud owner of champion groomed dog to show off their sweetheart dog. Of course, it is also a great time to show off your musical talent and earn yourself some extra pocket money. And, it is also perfect time to sell off what ever you wish to disposed off your home. From home made cookies to soap; Home recipe jam and sauce to BBQ food. You name it, they got it.

So, this very craft market is the place where I first spend my money on, for this trip.
Asking what I bought? Let me list it down. AUD$5 on home-made-recipe honey puff. Not too bad. AUD$12 on ice cream for Dad, Lai Ming and myself. Ordinary. AUD$5 on Peter for his lollies!!! How nice right, I know. Chis, can't believe LK actually get AUD$5 from me just for the freaking gian lollies. hmph....

Anyway, Dad got himself a bag of Australia's famous brown pear for only AUD$10. Cheap. Very cheap indeed.

After the craft market, Peter drove us to his parent's place.
Because LK and Peter were invited by Peter's boss to his Christmas pool-side bbq party, so we'll spend the remaining noon with Peter's parents. Peter's dad, Graeme, prepared lunch for us. We had lunch at their summer dining room which is semi-open-air. I can feel the summer breeze blew into the room from between the timber fence-wall.

Lunch was great except we all did not expect meat loaf can be so filling. Anyway, after our Aussie style lunch, we did not proceed to the living room. We remain siting in the summer dining room while Graeme and Janet bring us some old photos of Peter's. They told us stories of their memories and so did we.

Around 3.30 pm, we were droved to Peter's grandparent's place, by Graeme, for tea. There, again, we shared our travel experience and stories. We were showed by Nan and Pap their photos. And he had such great time there untill LK and Peter came back from their party and we were usher back to LK's place for a short nap before dinner.

We had dinner at Sofia!!! I totally love sofia.
Before this dinner, dad was so negetive about not having pizza at Lygon St. After he tried Sofia, he fell for Sofia, as expected, and he no more mentioned about Lygoon St's Pizza. Reason is simple, Sofia the best!!!!

Since we had dinner at Sofia, you should have guess it right that it'll be basketball after that, din't you? Yes, basketball semi-finals.

After the ball game, we're all home safe and sound and dead tired as I still suffer from jet lag.

Love,
Nichole @ LaiYin
