Yes, it's my mom's birthday.
As I'm preparing to leave the house, I received a sms from mom saying that she wants sea weed snacks for birthday. So, fine. I got her a total of 8 pack of 3m spicy sea weed snack.
Of course that wont be the only present I'm getting her. I got her an mp3 player. And, I also have her Thai Language CD transferred, converted, and saved in the player for her. How thoughtful am I yea?
LM placed a pack of sea weed snack in a box, underneath the sea weed lay the mp3 player and wrap up nicely. As we understand mom too well, we double wrapped the present. Wrap here I mean those ready made present box. So, to make the day better, we hide the remaining 7 packs of sea weed snack somewhere where mom won't caught sight of.
When mom came back from work, she came in my room and started to ask me for ransom. I really do mean ransom here okay...!!! She uses every way she could to threaten me to give her the present.
Mom have a habit. To change her outfit after work. So, she warned me that I better have the present of the doorstep of her room after she's done peeing or she'll do something mean.
But I'm not giving up so fast. I refused to place the present at the spot she mentioned. In fact, I did no action bout it. So, she came in my room and started searching for it and saw the red present box. She ripped open the ribbon and open the box. TADAH!!!! Another red present box...!!! Mwahahhahaha....
As she's reaching for the second box, I manage to get the present back and told her that only giving it to her during the cake cutting ceremony. She refused and keep bugging me to give her the present. And finally, she uses and best treat ever. And it always works on me!!! MY POCKET MONEY!! She says no more money for me if I do not give her the present instantly. So I'm FORCED to give it to her. The moment to open both the boxes, she's so happy with the sea weed snack and started eating it. The mp3 player fall out from the box and landed on her lap but she ignored it. BECAUSE ALL SHE'S SO INTO HER SNACK!!!!
The moment she finishes the pack of sea weed, she turn to us and give us those angry faces demanding for more. We told her we only bought one and she says we're mean. I wonder who meaner!!! And we forced her to listen to the mp3 player and she have no comment bout the player. Gosh... All she wants is just sea weed snack.
Of course, we gave her the remaining 7 packs of snack and she's happy again.
We had sea-food for dinner as a celebration for mom's birthday.
After dinner, back home, about 10pm, we had the birthday ritual. Cake cutting ceremony. Family of Uncle Keong and family of Aunty Jessy bought mom a cake. And we had cake and we're all super full and we're all super FAT!!
Anyway, it's mom's birthday, so I don't bother bout the calories I've consumed.

2009 First Post
HAPPY 2009 FOLKS!!!!
My 2008 last meal was McD's Ayam Goreng.
And....
My 2009 first meal is, McD's Double Prosperity burger!!!
Meaningful isn't it? Having prosperity meal on the first day of the year.
AND!!!! It's the Low Family's ritual to have McD's prosperity burger as the first meal for the first day of the new year...!!!

Bye 2008 Welcome 2009
Okay, I celebrate this New Year's count down different as to last year's.
This is because parents got an invitation from friend to attend his son's wedding. And apparently, this friend is one of my parents' closer one. So, it is unforgivable to not attend.
And as the ritual, I'll list down all my 1st throughout year 2008.
- First run-wild horse ride.
- First flight without parents leading.
- First German food and cabbage soft-drinks
- First Zoo visits as to my knowledge
- First Visit to Sydney and Sydney Opera House
- First live Aussie Football match
- First part-time pay cheque
- First picnic at the beach
- First sand castle
- First sunset watching
- First big birthday bash
- First fake eye-lashes
- First colour contact-lenses. If you all realise.
- First dinner with Peter's parents and family members.
- First Chivas with coke
- First Christmas in the real Christmas way
- First crappy English class
- First movie date
- First re-sit of exam
- And finally, first count down in KL
All-hail to my 20th year and my 20 1st...!!!
