Visitor From Poland

Been writing too much of emotional entries and it makes my life seems so negative. But truth is, I am pretty busy (busy being a bummer), so I'll just post via my iPhone blogging apps. And since it's via my iPhone, most of em are consist of thoughts from spur of the moment and my own feelings.

To add a bit of life to my pretty dead blog, I decide to do a proper post.

What's in my life which is interesting? The latest one would be Greg's visit.

I know Greg from my uni days back in Aberystwyth. A nice and good looking Polish boy. So he sent me a message telling me that he's visiting. As a nice host and proud Malaysian, I offered him my place to stay and to bring him around.

My dearest darling, Tasya and myself have planned out where to bring him etc.

On the day of Greg's arrival, we pick him up from Sentral and off to lunch. Because we have not much time to waste, so we decide to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. We brought him to Atmosphere360@KL Tower (http://www.atmosphere360.com.my). This place is superb!!

Greg get to have a good taste of all, or rather most, of Malaysian food and also a 360 view of KL. Since it's a revolving restaurant, he have a good coverage of the whole of KL. The food was, okay, not the best, but it is a buffet, so he get to try Malay, Chinese and Indian food in a go!!

After lunch, we went to the famous KLCC park for a good take of the Twin Tower. And I actually walk the park in my 4inches Aldo heels. I call it my walking shoes.

After KLCC, we need to leave the city as soon as possible to avoid all the crazy after work traffic. We all went home, showered, rested and left the house again. Went to pick up Lammie and Sarah, got stuck in the terrible traffic for HOURS and finally arrived our destination at around 9pm for our very late dinner. Was CRAZY hungry and I started to become so grumpy I can actually eat up someone who pisses me off.

We were joined by Wei Chi and Furley. We had steamboat. Best thing ever created for young and hungry people like us who want variety of food and also take their own sweet time to enjoy.

After our very late dinner, we rushed to the city to have our last glimpse of the city lights. We went to Dataran Merdeka, the golden triangle... blah blah blah... We brought him to BB Park to play 'spot the prostitute' and also Brickfields to have a look at the cheaper red light district. Went to Bangsar to drop Sarah off and home we go. Lammie slept over at my place and apparently I snore. Not surprise. I mean hello?! I have been driving for the whole freaking day!!! In my heels!!!

Day 2. Kick off with local breakfast. Milo dinosaur, half boiled eggs and kaya toast. Then off to Batu Caves. In Tasya's super nice and comfy car. Drove by Lammie. It is a lovely lovely day for Batu Caves. I think Malaysia just love Greg. The weather was great throughout his visit.

We were like a full on tourist!! We got so excited over monkies!!! And we took gazillion photos of em. Best part, Greg and I saw monkey sex!!! How odd is that?! Then we started climbing all the stairs. And Greg call those dripping cave water as monkey's pee. Which kind of gross me out and I keep avoiding those drips.

2nd best part, some Asian tourist feed ONE monkey, within seconds, whole flock of them came running to her. One of them climb up to her leg to snatch for food. She ran out of food and started to run away from all the monkies. So, she was wearing black tank top and she look chinese. I'm wear black tank top and I look chinese. That desperate monkey who climbed her started walking towards me and I panic. I plotted an evil plan. That is hiding behind the girls. Teeheeee...

3rd best part, we had coconut after done with the cave. It is absolutely lovely.

After Batu Caves, we were famished. So we head to Restaurant Lorong Seratus Tahun and introduce to Greg some of our local delights. As Chatime is just next door, Lammie insist that Greg should try bubble tea as well. We were really satisfied with our food. Well, at least I am.

After lunch, Tasya have to rushed home for her cousin's farewell, so dad sent Greg to LCCT together with Lammie and I. We actually felt quite... empty... after he left. We spent almost whole of 2 days together doing things and now back to our own life. I have to admit I miss the girl's company quite a lot. Of course Greg's too but he is different case.

He claims that he will visit Asia again. Lets hope that we can have this much fun again. Tasya, Lamb, if you girls are reading this, I miss you...!!!! Jom makan soon... :)

Signing off,
Nichole Xx
